The Use2Use Design Toolkit was developed by Dr. Anneli Selvefors and Dr. Oskar Rexfelt at Chalmers University of Technology. The development of the five tools was, in part, funded by the Kamprad Family Foundation through the research project “A User Perspective on Product Life-Cycles”. This project was carried out during 2016-2019 by Chalmers University of Technology in collaboration with the service design firm Transformator Design.

The development of the toolkit was supported by valuable contributions from: Dr. Helena Strömberg and Dr. Sara Renström at Chalmers University of Technology; Stina Behrens, Kajsa Davidsson and Maria Bergström at Transformator Design; company representatives from Hultafors Group, Electrolux, Åhléns, Granit, and Fjällräven who have tried out early versions of the tools in workshops; plus the numerous students at Chalmers University of Technology who have taken part in testing different versions of the tools. Thank you!

Several companies and designers have also kindly contributed photos of their circular offerings or designs which are included as inspiring examples in the Circular Designs Ideation Pack. We therefore also want to thank the following companies: The Agency of Design, Haglöfs, Husqvarna Group and Sellpy, as well as the designers: Elin Hagman, Lisa Wendt, Simone Rebaudengo, Patricia Lindborg and Olivia Chalandon.
